Learn how to manage notifications and photo permissions on your iPhone, Android, or smartwatch when using the Ovivio Parent App.


Notifications

You will receive a notification whenever the nursery shares something on the Parent App. Notifications will appear on your device’s screen, including smartwatches.

Not Receiving Notifications?

Ensure notifications are enabled on your device by following these steps:

📱 iPhone:
➡️ Settings > Parent App > Notifications > Allow Notifications

🤖 Android:
➡️ Settings > Apps & Notifications > Notifications > Allow Notifications


Photo Permissions

Android

  • Taking Photos

📌 When prompted with “Allow Ovivio to take pictures and record video?” select Allow to take photos within the app.

If your phone isn’t allowing you to take photos, update permissions:
➡️ Settings > Apps > Ovivio Parent App > Permissions > Camera > Change from Denied to Allow

  • Uploading Photos

📌 When prompted with “Allow Ovivio to access photos, media, and files on your device?” select Allow to upload photos from your camera roll.

If you can’t upload photos, update permissions:
➡️ Settings > Apps > Ovivio > Permissions > Storage > Change from Deny to Allow

iPhone

  • Taking Photos

📌 When prompted with “Ovivio Would Like to Access the Camera” select OK to take photos in the app.

If your phone isn’t allowing you to take photos, update permissions:
➡️ Settings > Scroll down to Ovivio > Camera > Turn On

  • Uploading Photos

📌 When prompted with “Ovivio Would Like to Access Your Photos” select OK to upload photos from your camera roll.

If you can’t upload photos, update permissions:
➡️ Settings > Scroll down to Ovivio > Photos > Change from Never to Read and Write
