You can now complete sleep checks on Ovivio. First, you'll need to set your sleep check intervals.
Setting up sleep check intervals
More > Settings > General > Sleep Check Interval > Edit > Set Interval Time > Save.
Note: The interval timer only runs when children have been laid down or are asleep.
Children who sleep at nursery
Ensure that it is recorded within a child's About page that they sleep at nursery.
Children > About > Development > Select Sleeps during the day > Update.
Parents can also update this information via the Registration Form.
Sleep Monitoring in the Daily Diary
Once a child has been signed in and has been recorded to sleep in their About page, they will automatically appear on the sleep list.
Dashboard > Diary > Sleeps
Here, you'll find the Safer Sleep Monitoring box, where you can complete sleep checks.
The room will display children who are recorded as sleeping during the day.
Note: You can add additional children by selecting + Children. If a child regularly sleeps at nursery, we recommend updating their About profile.
Recording Sleep Checks & Temperature
You're able to:
Log the room temperature for each room.
Click Log Temp > Input temperature > Add time > Update logged by > Save.
Bulk record sleep checks
Click record checks > Add time > Update checked by > Add notes > Select all children or specific children > Save check.
Recording Sleeps
You can record when children have been laid down, fallen asleep, and when they wake up, either individually or in bulk.
To record sleep times in bulk:
Laid Down: Select Laid Down > Add Time > Select Room > Select Children > Lay Down.
Note: The sleep check interval timer starts when children are recorded as laid down.
Fell Asleep: Select Fell Asleep > Add Time > Select Room > Select Children > Fell Asleep.
Woke Up: Select Woke Up > Add Time > Select Room > Select Children > Woke Up.
Once a child has been recorded as Laid down, a sleep check box will appear beneath their name.
If a check is overdue, the box will turn red and display how long the check is overdue by.
