Requesting Extra Sessions | Approving & Declining Requests

Once a parent has submitted an extra session request the nursery will need to approve or decline the request within their Ovivio platform.

Approving and Declining requests Extra Session requests

View extra session requests

  • Dashboard > Parent Inbox > Sessions Requested.

  • Nursery managers will receive a notification for extra session requests, and they will appear on the Attention Needed widget on the Dashboard.


Approve an extra session request

  • Parent Inbox > Sessions Requested > All extra sessions will appear > Click into the specific extra session > Click Approve > Enter Approval Note (optional) > Click Approve.

  • Status will change to 'Approved' and the session will be added to the child's booking pattern. This will pull through automatically to the child's next invoice.

  • Parents will receive a notification in the parent app and via email that the session request has been approved.


Decline an extra session request

  • Parent Inbox > Sessions Requested > All extra sessions will appear > Click into the specific extra session > Click Decline > Enter Decline Reason (optional) > Click Decline.

  • Status will change to 'Declined'.

  • Parents will receive a notification in the parent app and via email that the session request has been declined.
